Biographical Notes:

Albert's son, Brigadier James Hargest was killed in WW2 and is buried at Hottot-les-Bagues cemetery. James' elder son Geoffrey is buried at Cassino, Italy, and younger son, Peter at Woodlands Cemetery, near Invercargill, killed  while serving with the Fijian Defence Force during the Malaya Emergency.
