"NELSON. Saturday. Driver Alvin Robert Andrews who arrived in Nelson on leave from Trentham Military Camp on Wednesday, died at the Nelson Public Hospital this morning. When admitted he was suspected of suffering from meningitis, but this was found not to be the case. "
