"ACCIDENT ON MANOEUVRES (Special) CHRISTCHURCH, July 23. Private AngusYoung MacAskill, a soldier, aged 21 years, was killed yesterday during military manoeuvres on the Hawkins road near Darfield. MacAskill was riding along the road and when he failed to negotiate a corner properly, his bicycle ran into a cattlestop.
