Biographical Notes:

"The death has occurred of Sergeant Bernard Wilson Fisk, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Fisk, formerly of Kelburn. Born in Blenheim, he was educated at the Marist Brothers' School, Tasman Street. He was one of the original members of the Paremata Boating Club, and held the position of secretary for two years. He joined the Army before the outbreak of war, and was stationed at the Palmerston North Central School Camp. He served in the Pacific, and on his return took up a position in the Sick and Wounded Department at Wellington Hospital. He was recently transferred to the Sick and Wounded Department at Hutt Hospital. He was Scoutmaster at Tawa Flat for nearly two years. He leaves a wife and four sons now  resident at Waddington, Lower Hutt. The funeral took place yesterday at the Soldiers' Cemetery, Karori."
