Biographical Notes:

During air to air practice attacks, the wing of Charles Gray's Harvard struck the target aircraft, another Harvard, flown by Warren Sharpe. Both aircraft crashing to the ground, landing on the farm of a Mr Dalrymple at Parewainui.
