Biographical Notes:

"A distressingly sad accident, unfortunately attended with fatal results, occurred on the Fruitlands road at 7-45 p.m. Saturday night last. The victim being David Toll, a young man 20 years of age, a son of Mr and Mrs Toll, who reside on the Dunstan Domain. It appears that while riding a motor cycle he collided with a motor car, sustaining injuries serious enough to cause his death a few hours later in the Dunstan Hospital. The greatest sympathy is felt for the sorrowing parents."
