Biographical Notes:

"Pte. William Walter Howard Wood, who died at the Wellington Hospital, will be buried with military honours at Karori Cemetery to-day. He was a son of Mr. J. G. Wood, of Wellington South. He enlisted in the 4th Reinforcements, but he contracted septic pneumonia at camp, and had been ill in hospital suffering from this disease for 26 weeks."
