Biographical Notes:

Although the CWGC have him born in England his service record states that he was born at Oamaru on 15 February, 1885. However, Births, Deaths and Marriages online shows a John Homer Booth born on 25 March 1885 - parents Clara and Albert. For the moment we will record his birth as 15/02/1885 and born at Oamaru.
