Ralph was a student at Sacred Heart College, Auckland and was the 1st Old Boy to die in WW1 from the College. He was wounded at Gallipoli and was one of four Old Boys to die there. We are researching the background of Ralph and as he was English by birth this is difficult to find family/relations. We would like a picture of Ralph..his name is also on the Gallipoli Memorial. Ralph was first cousin to my grandmother. He was born in England in October 1895, and his mother died shortly after his birth. Ralph had no other known siblings, which may explain a scarcity of information from close relatives. Ralph seems to have lived with his deceased mother's parents (the Roebucks) in London for at least a good part of his childhood. I am not sure when he emigrated to New Zealand. ... Read More
