Biographical Notes:

The death has occurred of Mr Richard John Mansel, aged 20 years, only son of Mr and Mrs Robert Mansel, of Hillcrest, Hamilton. Mr Mansel, who was educated at the Hamilton High School, was farming at Cambridge and later joined the staff of W. and R. Fletcher, Ltd., at Cambridge. He was called up when 18 years of age and was stationed at Gloucester Park, Onehunga, up till a short time before his death. He was a keen rifle shot and was also interested in tennis.
