Roger Meredith Mace
Son of Trevor Ellis Mace and of Dorothy Mace (nee Dick), of Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand; husband of Margaret Mae Mace, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Killed in Lancaster aircraft NC435, attached to the Armstrong Whitworth Co of Coventry, on an experimental flight. The aircraft crashed and exploded near Marston, Warwickshire.
The only other crew was one civilian engineer.
