Location Information:
Tillieres-sur-Avre is a village and commune on the N.12 road from Versailles to Alencon, some 11 kilometres west of Nonancourt. The communal cemetery is some 500 yards north of the centre of the village, on the D.60 road to Damville. Near the middle of, and adjacent to, the western boundary wall is the collective grave of six airmen. Five of them belonged to the Royal Air Force and one to the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
