Biographical Notes:

Eric Holdaway, Eric Eldershaw and George Eathorne were aboard a Hudson bomber on a “circuits and landings” flight from Whenuapai when they reported engine difficulties and extreme turbulence. Minutes later at 1500 ft,  they went into steep turn and crashed 5 miles from Helensville.
