"Nurses from 2 New Zealand General Hospital at Kantara placing wreaths in the cemetery at El Ballah, Egypt, circa 23 October 1943, after three New Zealanders from the Hospital were killed in a car accident. Photograph taken by George Robert Bull.

Caption from Defence Archive file print reads: "...three nurses and a Corporal of that hospital were buried as a result of a motor accident on the canal road between Ishmalia and Port Said. The victims were Pte Miss P A [Patricia Ann] Morrissey (Port Ahuriri), Pte Miss M [Margaret] O McAnulty (Eketahuna), Pte Miss M [Mary] Innes (Masterton) and Corp SRW Bomford (Takapuna).
