Biographical Notes:

Member of the Long Range Desert Group. Died of wounds in a POW camp in Germany.

 

Anecdotally, wounded 9.2.1945 in crossfire between Russians and Germans while​ being evacuated from Ruckenwaldau POW Camp, Poland​ and died in an army hospital at  Modlau, Poland​ and believed to be buried nearby.
