Biographical Notes:

"A tragic drowning fatality occurred at Smaill's Beach on Saturday afternoon, when Mr. Arthur Wills, aircraft instructor employed at the Air Force technical training centre at the Hillside Workshops, got into difficulties in the surf and lost his life. Mr. Wills who resided at 14 Hood Street, Kaikorai, was 41 years of age, and was a married man with a family of five."
