Casualties

Our database contains the details of 90 percent of the New Zealand servicemen and servicewomen who died in conflict or in peace-keeping operations since the Anglo-Boer war (1899-1902). This inlcudes the major conflicts of the 20th century, World War I and World War II. The database of casualties is the culmination of many hours of research and investigation by our team of archivists.

You are able to search the database for casualty information using the search functionality on the right side of this page. This will allow the search of any keyword associated with a casualty.

We are very interested in expanding our database of information and welcome your contribution. If you have information to add that relates to any of the casualties within our  system, you can add this by clicking the appropriate button on our casualty pages.
