Biographical Notes:

PRIVATE W. ORME. Private Walter Orme (Canterbury Infantry Battalion, killed) was a son of Mr John Orme, Francis avenue, St. Albans. He was born in Christchurch, and educated at the West Christchurch District High School. He was farming on the Peninsula when he enlisted in the main Expeditionary Force.
