Featherston Military Camp advises that 82958, Private Edwin Hall Corney, Specialist Company, 47th Reinforcements, died at the Auckland Hospital on 20th August. The cause of death is suspected as cerebro-spinal meningitis. Deceased was 20 years of age, and his father was Mr. Walter Corney, 8, Pompallier street, Ponsonby, Auckland.
