Biographical Notes:

Set off for a raid on Tobruk from Amseat, Libya. As the Blenheim rolled out, four bombs detached from the plane and exploded, damaging one engine. The aircraft tried to climb, but turned to port, crashed and burned out. All three crew were killed.
