"[O]n Saturday, 19 October [1918], Plumpton was engaged in minesweeping operations close to the Belgium coast near Ostend, when it struck a mine and was lost. Ten men, including Temporary Lieutenant George Andrew Drummond, DSC, MiD, RNR." [Wright (2015)]
