Biographical Notes:

"About 9 a.m. to-day a soldier at the Awapuni camp, Grenston Sangster Dick, whose parents, Mr and Mrs J. Dick, reside at Taihape, was found dead as the result of a bullet wound. Deceased was 26 years of age and single. It is stated that there is no suggestion of any other person being involved in the matter."
