Biographical Notes:

Hugh was the Instructor on a Tiger Moth at RNZAF Taieri. At noon on the 16th Feb, the aircraft was seen spinning from 4000 ft. before crashing behind trees. The pupil survived with serious injuries. It is though that a foot got jammed under a rudder pedal causing the loss of control.
