Biographical Notes:

John Wyllie was the Captain of a Catalina flying boat based at Kipevu, Kenya. The aircraft crashed on take -off from Pamazzi, Comoro Islands, killing all aboard.  Five of the crew are buried at Diego Suarez, Madagascar, but John andothers are commemmorated on the Alamein memorial.
