Biographical Notes:

An aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force engaged in night flying from a North Island station crashed into the sea at 8.30 p.m. yesterday. A member of the crew, Pilot Officer Morris Mclntyre Bee (father, Mr. F. G. Bee, care Mrs. W. A. Kennedy, Marine Parade, Wairoa), was drowned. The other two occupants, Sergeant D. A. Leslie (Gisborne) and Aircraftman A. N. Larkman (Wanganui), received injuries classified as not serious.
