“Private Peter Taylor, who died from wounds at Walton-on-Thames Hospital, was a son of Mr William Taylor, of Stoney Creek. The deceased enlisted from Waitoitoi, North Island, and was wounded in action on August 24.“ [Otago Witness, Issue 3367, 25 September 1918, Page 42]
