Biographical Notes:

Robert was the Observer on an Albacore1, training at HMS Goshawk, a base at Trinidad, Caribbean. The aircraft, piloted by A J Cribb, RNVR, rolled while executing a turn and dived into the ocean. All 3 crew were killed.
