Biographical Notes:

Born in Liverpool on 17 May 1897, he was an officer of the New Zealand Staff Corps. Was Commander of New Zealand Div Sigs and OC New Zealand Corps of Sigs from 5 January 1940-27 September 1941, Commanding Officer of 21 Battalion December 1941-July 1942.
