Essey-les-Nancy is a village some 3 kilometres, north-east of Nancy railway station, and on the outskirts of Nancy. North-east of the church, adjoining the eastern boundary of the churchyard, are the graves of 6 airmen; 3 belonged to the Royal Air Force, 1 to the Royal Australian Air Force and 2 to the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
