Biographical Notes:

"Eric John Griffiths, aged 20, an airman stationed at Ohakea, died shortly after his admission to the Wanganui Public Hospital on Saturday suffering from injuries received when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a fence near the foot of the Kaitoke hill, five miles south of Wanganui, on the Main Highway. Mr. Griffiths's home address is Dunedin. A pillion rider on the motor-cycle, A. G. Isles, an airman stationed at Ohakea, received a severe shaking."
