Biographical Notes:

During a formation practice, he informed the leader that his coolant temperature was high, and that he was returning to base. Smoke was seen streaming from the Warhawk as it headed to the airfield. However at 1000ft, the nose and right wing dropped and he went into a spin, crashing in flames near Sanson, 3 miles from his Ohakea base.
