Biographical Notes:

While engaged on an instrument take off at Woodburne, the Oxford ll, piloted by Mathew Coxon and Instructor James Hewett collided with an Oxford 1, flown by Charles Hildreth and Gordon Claris who were circling the field preparing to land.
