Biographical Notes:

The Rev. Father Patrick Dore died this morning. While he was attending wounded on Gallipoli, in August, 1915, a bullet struck him in the spine, causing partial paralysis, from the effects of which he never recovered. He was awarded the Military Cross for exceptional bravery and devotion to duty under fire.
