I have photo of him before he went to war with my poppa in a rugby team on my wall. The story of his death goes like this. He was off duty and got a call by one of his mates to see if he would cover him for a flight, which he did and the plane went down. As far as i was told the plane was doing a normal run but had been sabotaged and it crashed. George died. Now this story was told to me by my father and was told by his father Jack Sutherland, poppa) who also served in the war. I have always said that I will go to were he is buried in India to lay a flowers for my poppa. That's going to be soon I feel.
