Please correct the surname to "von Dadelszen." Michael's date of birth is 21 April 1916. He was killed when his plane was returning from a bombing raid over Germany. The crash file is not where it should be in the Air Ministry but I attach a letter from the best friend of the sole survivor (the pilot) which confirms the crash was caused by friendly fire. The pilot died in a raid some 18 months later. [Record since amended - NZWGT]
