Biographical Notes:

Several messages were received from NZ232, flown by Pilot Harry Kinder, Navigator Charles Turnbull and Wireless Operator Nepia Stewart, but it seemed that their receiving set was out of order. The aircraft was last heard from at 16.44. A search failed to find any trace of the plane.
