Biographical Notes:

"The eldest son of Mrs. E. W. O'Carroll, of New Plymouth, Sergeant Navigator P. S. O'Carroll, has been reported killed in an aircraft accident in Britain. A former student at the Auckland University College and the Auckland Teachers' Training College, Sergeant-Navigator O Carroll attended the Stratford Technical High School.
