Biographical Notes:

On a night flying exercise from Ardmore, Sefton’s Corsair, along with others were recalled due to deteriorating weather. Sefton radioed to the control tower asking to join the landing circuit and the height of the cloud base. Nothing more was heard and a search did not find his aircraft.
